It’s been a long long time and although I’ve been full on embracing my Hermit mode, I guess it is maybe time to step blinkingly into the sun to see what’s going on in the rest of the world. And what better way to do it than by taking up Joy Vernon’s invite to join the Imbolc Tarot Blog Hop?
TOPIC: Short Form Card InterpretationsThe season of Imbolc is associated with the Goddess Brigid: poet, metalsmith, and healer. Imbolc is also a time of the germination of seeds as the earliest of spring flowers start to grow. In honor of poet Brigid and of the potential held in seeds, we are writing short form tarot interpretations, seeds of cards, through poetry or other brief forms.

I decided not to overthink things… It seems to me that the bulk of tarot questions are about love and so I decided to throw down cards from the Japaridze Tarot as a hypothetical relationship reading describing in Haiku(ish) style the energies of person A, person B, and the dynamic created between them… Or… In the spirit of short form and in the interests of keeping this a brief affair, let’s call it…
You, Me, We

High up in the air
Innocently taking risk
No fear of danger

Embracing the heat
Comfort in conscious knowledge
All fears are conquered

Many seeds planted
Never looking for quick gain
Fruited beyond their dreams
OK! I’m hopping off back into my cave… You can hit the links and visit the other posting poets…
The You, Me, We spread is definitely a keeper! And bonus, this is a nice reading for upcoming Valentine’s Day. Thanks for coming out into the Sun today!

Your comment makes me think of that quote – Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
