A Tarot Tip that fills my heart with glee…

 

 

One of delicious delights of being a tarot reader, is the many and varied tips you get given… Over the years, I’ve had my palm crossed with cakes, books, crystals, perfume, nail polish… scarves, fairy lights, chilli peppers… and the list goes on and on…

But recently, I came into possession of the trinket you see above…

I was out at an event, speed reading back to back for two days… so unfortunately, I can’t remember my benefactor’s name, as it has become lost in the flow of the stream of the hundreds I heard… But I do recall her warm face with a ready smile, her raven black locks that fell into soft curls and the Irish lilt she spoke in…

She walked towards me and asked me if I was free to read for her…

Of course! I said and waved my hand to invite her to sit…

And she starts to chat and say that she had never had a reading before… and my eye is caught… Both of her arms are rich with bangles and on her right arm, there sitting between rows and rows of beads of many colours, I catch sight of a glint of a shine… a flash of light… a shiny, shiny, ssssssssnake…. 

It winks at me… come hither….

And I’m listening to her talk and my mind coils around the ouroboros on her wrist… and from my mouth, spring forth the words… I LOVE your snake…. Give it to me!!!

And I clasp my hand to mouth, as I can’t believe what I have just said…

She looks me in the eye and says – Really? You LOVE it?

I nod at her…. yes… yes I do…

She removes it from her wrist and thrusts it towards me… Here! Have it!

I protest… No!… NO… I can’t do that…

She says… Yes!… Yes you can! I only bought it to wear for today and I won’t wear it again… It should go live with a Tarot reader…It would be far happier living with you… It seems to have your name all over it…

And I think…
