You can Love and Light me all the way to hell…

You know… I’m often perceived as a fairly laid back person… which surprises me and people who are close to me… as yeah… maybe I am laid back to a degree but I’m only laid back up until the point where I’m not laid back… and then I’m vertical with a vengeance!

And mostly, it’s not that I’m laid back at all but more that I’m pretty happily occupied with a zillion and one thoughts and I’m just not that observant of what is being said around me… Until something ripples my pond and then you have my full attention…

And today… my full attention has indeed been stirred…

Fully stirred by three little words…

LOVE AND LIGHT

Why?

Because they come at the end of a snarky email filled with rudeness, assumptions and patronising overtones…

Oh… but that’s OK… no need for me to take offence….as it ends with LOVE AND LIGHT

And when I challenge the tone, I get a further email complaining about my ‘nasty response’… also ending with Love and Light…

I’m fed up with this phrase and how it’s tossed around… used as some sort of glamour to cover up nasty attitudes… and a vain attempt to deny one’s dark side…

I am full of light and so I am right!

Really? See you tell me that you are only light and I only see half a person…

I can be as Sunny as the sunniest of sunny bunnies…

But I know I have a dark side… I like my dark side… Often it’s my best side…

So I think it’s only fair to say…

Beneath my calm exterior lies a mind like a hornet’s nest…

If you want to come poking me with your shitty stick then hide behind your love and light mantra…

Don’t be surprised when you get stung…
