Almost Deceased Oracle…

I’ve recently been questioned as to the origin of the Discarded Oracle… It’s an interesting question as how do we truly define the beginning of any story… Sure we think we know a date we thought we started but then how did we arrive at that date? What happened before then that lead you to that point…

Or as a very funny medium/unqualified mental health advisor friend of mine would say… Yes, you think it happened then but come on… Think… Come on… When did it REALLY start… Come on… Think back… Think back.. YES! That’s right… It started when you were BORN! When you were born…

Now I’m a big fan of the saying why have a dog and bark yourself… So I said to the D. O. OK… You think you’re going to be born soon… But are you? Will you make it out into the world? You think you’ll be born in the future but when were you really born…

Ah… OK… The cards are down and an interesting answer. I clearly see the story of a day almost 9 years ago… 14th Oct 2011

A day when I had a near death experience… A day where I was reborn… A day where I cut myself free once and for all from a toxic mother so I could finally breathe and fly free…

People think it’s a terrible thing to live through abuse… Well yes. Of course it is!

But the thing is, once you cut yourself free, you know you’ve claimed your power back… Couple that with a lucky escape from death… That’s a great gift. That’s a gift whereby you know anything going forwards in your life is going to be small fry by comparison…

Becoming almost decreased then surviving… Somewhere in your mind something sparks… Something somewhere inside your mind comes back to life and you realise that you came here because you have a story to tell… A truth to be told… People may not want to hear it… People may not like you for it… There was a time you used to care and worry about things like that but that was in your old life… You don’t live there any more… Now… Now you are free to express yourself in full and glorious technicolor… Paint your world, let your words fly…

    1. Thanks Jordan for linking those together. Yes, self-support… It just made me think of that karate saying about practising kicks. Self-support is the one support to be practised a thousand times…
I like that you use the term self-support. I find the term self-care a little hmm maybe sometimes a little like self-medicating? Oh, I’m going to have a nice bubble bath to distract myself from the problem for half an hour rather than considering what you need to do to rip out the roots…
